Since its founding in 1971, Moseley Associates has advised not-for-profit organizations about their publishing programs, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science, The American Mathematical Society, the National Audubon Society, and a number of university presses, among many others. Usually such associations do not regard publishing as their core business, thus requiring outside guidance for refining the publishing program, whether be it a group of journals or a series of monographs.
Our services to not-for-profit groups include:
- impartial strategic review of the program development,
- evaluation of the editorial process,
- marketing review including circulation and advertising,
- review of programs for electronic delivery of publications, and
- back office operational study.
Those not-for-profit organizations in need of transaction services such as valuation of the publishing program or purchase investigation should review our various Transaction Services.
